Digital Design program Portfolio preparation
Through a series of tutor-led classes, students will deepen their understanding of the foundations of Digital Design. They will apply this knowledge and develop their existing design skills through practical workshops with professional graphic designers.
During this Digital Design portfolio preparation workshop, we will cover ways to communicate elements in your work. But these series of workshops are not solely focused on finished work, these workshops will be covering different ways of researching a project subject, finding new ideas, preparing a deep analysis and ways of presenting a final Digital design project. This is not a computer software course but rather reflects the studio-based and idea generation nature of the graphic design.
Please note this course is suitable for you if you are applying for Colleges or University Digital Design programs, but does not guarantee entry.

- Fundamentals of graphic design: line, type, color and texture

Course Outcomes
By the end of this course you should have:
- Prepared new work for your portfolio
- Understood how to develop your work through experimentation
- Put together a collection of ideas, notes, and sketches to be included notebook/sketchbook to support your portfolio
Who Should Attend
This course is suitable for you if you have a body of Digital design work you wish to develop and edit into a portfolio for college or university Digital Design programs entrance portfolio.
Level
Intermediate: You should have a body of graphic design to bring with you, and some understanding of the fundamentals of design theory.
